I'm not exactly fantastic with computers, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I haven't had any luck in downloading some sort of memory card, and going into Tools>Memcard Manager doesn't seem to accomplish anything either. However doing this does not seem to solve the problem, and the file seems to reappear whenever I open Dolphin. I've searched around for fixes to this problem, and people have said to do things like deleting SRAM.raw, which I did. "The Memory Card in Slot A has not been formatted and cannot be used as is," (Fire Emblem) and "The Memory Card in Slot A cannot be used with this game." (Wind Waker) The obvious answer is yes, but that yields the response that : "The Memory Card in Slot A is corrupted and needs to be formatted. I press Start (enter) and I get a message that: It runs beautifully and I get all the opening stuff about safety and whatnot, and then the title screen. What happens is I open up the game, and it begins to run. The problem I have is the same with both games. However, I am having a problem dealing with some sort of virtual memory card.

It seems that the first use requires you to format the memory card and this can only be done with a game running. This is the only game I have tried so far. I have given myself all the permissions in both folders. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Dolphin program. Im trying to save games using the memory card built into Dolphin, but every time I create a save, it isnt saved onto the memory card. Dolphin is a free and open-source video game console emulator for GameCube and Wii that runs on Windows, Linux, MacOS, and Android. I have tried deleting the memory card and it recreates it but still doesn't "keep" the selection. It doesn't seem to be keeping my selection of the memory card. I notice that if I hit close and go back into the Memory Card Manager, it is no longer selected. I have selected it under Tools -> Memory Card Manager. Dolphin creates a Memor圜ardA.USA file when I load up this game. Dolphin Emulator is highly compatible with various platforms and allows you to play your favorite Gamecube and Wii games on your Linux, Windows, and macOS. I see the copyright page then it gives me an error: Memory Card Slot A: This Memory Card is formatted for use in a different territory. I open the ROM and it loads up without issue. Resetting the emulation allows me to load from the autosave, but completely closing Dolphin 'resets' the memory card file to when it was first created. Example: playing Pikmin 2 (ID: GPVE01), the game autosaves at certain points. I just installed Dolphin and I am using Star Wars Rogue Squadron II. Save states work as expected, and memory card saves work as long as the program stays open.
